Japanese Kataba A Crosscut Saw
Kataba A is a fast cutting Japanese hand saw for general carpentry or cutting lumber to length.It has a 14 TPI blade that is 10″ long and .022″ thick that cuts a .030″ kerf.The replaceable blade secures to the rattan wrapped wooden handle with a simple nut and bolt.
24-1/2″ overall length.
The teeth on this blade can be re-sharpened with a feather file if desired, versus simple replacement.
The cutting action for the blade is on the pull stroke.
