HOW TO USE:
- Determine the Application: Decide whether you need the switch for emptying (pump down) or filling (pump up) operation.
- Wiring for Emptying (High Level): Connect the black and brown wires to your control circuit. Cap the blue wire, ensuring it is properly insulated as it may carry voltage.
- Wiring for Filling (Low Level): Connect the black and blue wires to your control circuit. Cap the brown wire, ensuring it is properly insulated as it may carry voltage.
- Mount the Float Switch: Secure the float switch by its cable or use the optional adjustable counterweight. Ensure the float can move freely without obstruction.
- Adjust the Tether (if using): Adjust the length of the tether to set the desired high and low water levels for activation and deactivation of your pump. A longer tether provides a greater difference between the on and off levels.
- Test the Operation: Carefully fill or drain the tank to observe the switch’s activation and deactivation points, ensuring it functions as intended for your application.
