Like a full size construction speed square, the palm scale saddle miter simplifies layout of 45° left and right miters (measures 3-1/2″ tip to tip). The 1″ wide x 2-1/4″ long leg is precisely machined so you can transfer a square line around adjacent surfaces.A relieved inside corner guarantees a tight fit against the workpiece so that knife or pencil pressure won’t cause the saddle to slip.Like all Veritas saddles, this one is made from anodized aluminum.
