Description
Veritas Carcass Saw
Veritas has merged modern materials and traditional design to create this well balanced, excellent cutting carcass saw. As you can tell from the name, carcass saws are used to cut furniture carcass pieces and elements of the framework like joints in drawer runners, dividers, and stretchers. Not quite as beefy as a tenon saw, the Veritas Carcass Saw is scaled for smaller work, yet maneuverable enough to cut dovetails. The 11” high-carbon steel blade is mounted in a composite resin spine for stiffness and strength. The spine incorporates stainless steel powder for weight and glass fiber for strength. The elegantly curved hardwood handle fits your hand to give you exceptional cutting control.Depth of cut is 2-3/8″. Overall Length is 16-3/8″.
