HOW TO USE:

1. Prepare the Mounting Location: Ensure you have a 2.062″ (52mm) diameter hole in your desired mounting location.
2. Mount the Gauge: Insert the Speedhut Transmission Temperature Gauge into the prepared hole and secure it using the provided mounting hardware (typically a spin-lock ring).
3. Install the Temperature Sensor: Locate a suitable port on your vehicle’s transmission to install the included Speedhut Temperature Sensor. This often involves removing an existing plug and threading in the sensor. Ensure a proper seal to prevent leaks.
4. Connect the Sensor Wiring: Connect the 2-wire cable from the Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness to the terminals on the Speedhut Temperature Sensor.
5. Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Connect the red wire from the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to a +12V accessory power source (a circuit that is live when the ignition is on). Connect the black wire to a reliable ground. If you wish to connect the gauge’s LED illumination to your vehicle’s dash lights, connect the white wire to a +12V dash lighting circuit.
6. Connect to the Gauge: Plug the connectors from both the Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness and the Power & Lighting Harness into the corresponding ports on the back of the Speedhut Transmission Temperature Gauge.
7. Test the Gauge: Turn on your vehicle’s ignition. The gauge should power up, and the pointer should indicate the current transmission temperature once the engine has run for a short period. Verify that the LED illumination works when your vehicle’s lights are turned on.
