Sjöbergs Workbench Anvil Attachment
Hang on a minute there…this isn’t an ANVIL like a blacksmith uses. This is an attachment for a Sjöbergs Workbench that allows you to do a little bit of metal shaping in the course of your woodworking.It’s a heavy steel plate that hooks into a dog hole on the bench and hangs over the front edge. Using the anvil attachment you can flatten a hinge or bend a steel rod without wrecking your beautiful woodworking bench.
The anvil attachment has a steel rod(or lug) that slides into a dog hole to hold it in place. The lug is adjustable so it can be moved to fit the offset from the bench front to the dog hole on almost any bench.
