Oneway Mini Easy-Core Coring System

10″ & 12″ EASY-CORE CORING SYSTEMS

The Mini Easy-Core Coring System includes a base, knife, handle, knife support and instructional DVD. You choose the base size (12″ or 10″) based on the swing capacity of your lathe.

The Mini Easy-Core Coring System requires aClamp Block, which is lathe specific and sold separately.

The Mini Easy-Core Coring System differs from theLarge Easy-Core Coring Base Setin that the Mini System has only one knife set which is included. Adjustment for the core size is made by moving the base.

The cutter can be easily sharpened on a bench grinder (sharpening instructions are included). The HSS knives are made from the same excellent steel used to make Oneway’s Mastercut Turning Tools. Oneway has made it extra easy to sharpen your cutter with theirCutter Sharpening Jig.

Oneway has removed the difficulty and intimidation associated with coring a bowl with their Easy-Core Coring Systems. Using this system is such an improvement over traditional methods of hollowing bowls! It takes less time, less physically demanding, more efficient use of the wood and less sharpening is required.

There is very little vibration due to the design of the knife riding on a curved support that moves it progressively into the cut. Dangerous catches have been eliminated by the unique negative nose and positive top of the cutter preventing it from being pulled into the wood.
