This is the biggest, beefiest, most massive faceplate we carry. Most turners will never need something this big. It’s a heavy duty
10 inch cast iron faceplate ! If you’re turning something too big for this faceplate, we’re really impressed!
This big faceplate doesn’t come direct-threaded to fit your lathe. It uses the samethreaded inserts as theOneway Stronghold chuck . The insert fits into the back of the faceplate so you can thread it onto your lathe spindle.
For all spindle sizes, a threaded insert is REQUIRED to adapt this faceplate. See the chart below for the sizes available. If you do not see your size call us for assistance. If you choose to order this faceplate without an insert and you do not already have an insert, it will not work.
