Norton ProSand Multi-Air discs will accommodate any 5″ random orbit sander with a hook and loop pad. You won’t have to remember what pattern your sander needs, or buy different paper for multiple sanders. These discs will fit 5-hole, 8-hole, 9-hole – any hole pattern. DeWalt, Makita, Ryobi, Skil, Bosch, Fein, Festool – any brand.

With Norton Multi-Air discs, you don’t need to spend time aligning the discs holes with your sander pad’s holes, just put the disc on and go. The spiral hole pattern provides excellent dust collection regardless of sander hole pattern. (Of course, you have to use a vac or none of this matters.) The 246 holes in 5″ Multi-Air discs are laser cut rather than die punched so the paper stays flatter and sands more efficiently.

ProSand Discs feature a tightly graded, ceramic alumina abrasive that lasts longer and cuts faster than conventional discs.Norton coats these discs with a waterbased stearate to prevent clogging when sanding finishes and resinous woods. In our tests, we found it did not cause finish contamination or wood discoloration. So, it’s safe for use on any raw wood or finish, including waterborne finishes.
