The pleated design provides three times as much carbon media per filter while maintaining excellent airflow. These filters feature a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame with a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for extra durability. Suitable as a stand-alone filter in residential HVAC systems or as a pre-filter in high-efficiency commercial units, they help remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as household chemical odors.
