Narex Holdfast
The holdfast is the ultimate bench clamping tool for traditional hand tool woodworkers. It fits into a 3/4″ (19mm) holein your workbench and firmly clamps your workpiece with a blow from your mallet. It is hot forged from carbon steel and sandblasted for a slightly textured surface to better grip the dog hole.
The holdfast works well in benches up to 4 inches thick. In benches thicker than 4 inches, you may have to relieve the bottom of the dog hole for the holdfast to grip properly.)
