Milwaukee M18 XC8.0 Forge Lithium Battery (48-11-1881) is made for use in high-demand tools. It gives the same power as the 12.0Ah High Output battery but weighs less and takes up less space. The 8.0Ah battery is part of Milwaukee’s Forge line, which is known for fast charging and long battery life.
This battery charges up to 80% in 35 minutes when used with the M18 Dual Bay Super Charger. It includes active cooling through the Cool-Cycle system, which works with compatible chargers to reduce heat during charging. This helps prevent delays during use.
The battery is built with a protective coating and improved airflow, helping it cool faster. It also has a strong housing that resists damage from oils, greases, and solvents. Milwaukee’s Redlink electronics system helps protect the battery from overload and works with the tool and charger to manage power use.
The built-in fuel gauge is easier to read in bright light. The battery works with over 250 tools in the M18 system.
