HOW TO USE:
- Opening the Knife:
- Using the Flipper: Hold the knife firmly with your thumb and index finger. Apply light pressure to the flipper located on the back of the blade. Push down and back on the flipper with your index finger. The SpeedSafe® assisted opening system will engage, rapidly propelling the blade open and locking it into place.
- Using the Thumb Stud: Alternatively, place your thumb on one of the thumb studs located on the blade. Apply outward pressure with your thumb to initiate the opening, and the assisted mechanism will complete the rotation.
- Using the Tip-Lock (Blade Safety):
- To engage the Tip-Lock: Slide the small black tab located near the handle pivot towards the blade when the knife is closed. This locks the blade securely in the closed position, preventing accidental deployment.
- To disengage the Tip-Lock: Slide the tab back away from the blade to unlock it and prepare the knife for opening.
- Closing the Knife: Locate the frame lock. With one hand, firmly hold the handle. With your thumb, press the frame lock portion inward, away from the base of the blade. While holding the frame lock disengaged, use your other hand or gently push the spine of the blade to fold it back into the handle. Always ensure your fingers are clear of the blade’s path as it closes.
