The H7269 20″ x 1-3/16″ x 1/8″ HSS Planer Knives are a direct replacement for your dull or nicked knives.

HSS stands for high-speed steel where the steel has undergone a metallurgic process to withstand higher temperatures without losing hardness.

An additional benefit is that the steel holds it edge longer.

This set has been hardened and tempered to 62-64 Rockwell and are balanced to within one gram.
