Its tapered point and high spiral flute design allow smooth entry into misaligned or undersized holes while promoting efficient chip removal and precise cutting performance. The 3-flats reduced shank provides a secure grip in the drill chuck. Nitro surface treatment adds a hard, protective layer to the reamer, increasing hardness without brittleness. The body is black and gold surface treated for maximum lubricity. This reamer features six flutes for very fast shearing cuts, reduced chip size, and minimized chatter. Countersinking angles are commonly available at 60°, 82°, and 90°. Made in the USA for consistent quality and durability.
