If you’re new to woodturning, our Bodger woodturning tools are a great entry level tool for woodturners starting out.They have full size hardwood handles, metal ferrules, are dimensioned to the North American standard and come with decent angle geometries on the ground edges (though you can always re-grind according to your preferences).
Bodger tools are made from 4341 HSS.While not as hard as other blends of HSS found in the turning tools we offer from Sheffield England or from north America, these tools are very economical and have proven to be a good choice for newbie turners as they learn how to sharpen, since excessive grinding that happens as technique is perfected is best done on budget priced turning tools versus premium grade turning tools.They also can be a good affordable choice for experienced turners needing a single tool profile that may be used less frequently, though is still indispensable.
