Apollo Sprayers HVLP A7502-25-HS Series “D” High Solids (HS) Air Cap is is usually paired with a 2.5mm needle and nozzle. Use for higher-viscosity fluids or more thickly-pigmented paints. Compatible with all 7500 and 7700 series spray guns.

Apollo Sprayers offers both standard and high solids (HS) air caps. Standard air caps are generally intended for use with most clear finishes and high quality enamels, while high solid air caps are designed for high-viscosity fluids or thicker pigmented paints. The following are Apollo’s standard air cap and needle/nozzle pairings:

Clear Coat (“CC”) Air Cap – 0.5mm needle/nozzle
“A” Standard Air Cap – 0.8mm needle and nozzle
“B” Standard Air Cap – 1.0mm, 1.3mm and 1.5mm needles/nozzles
“C” Standard Air Cap – 1.8mm and 2.0mm needles/nozzles
“D” Standard Air Cap – 2.5mm needle/nozzle
“A” High Solids (HS) Air Cap – 0.8mm needle/nozzle
“B” High Solids (HS) Air Cap – 1.0mm, 1.3mm and 1.5mm needles/nozzles
“C” High Solids (HS) Air Cap – 1.8mm and 2.0mm needles/nozzle
