Description
A step up compared to straight flush trim bits. The spiral cutting edge will give a phenomenal finish on your workpiece. Choose up-cut for the cleanest cut on the bottom surface of your workpiece and down-cut for the cleanest cut on the top surface. (That’s in freehand router use with the router on top of your workpiece. Do the opposite for cuts in table-mounted routers.) Use extra care with down-cut bits because they will tend to push the workpiece away from your router in both overhand and table-mounted applications.
These bits are milled from sold carbide and should give a long service life in addition to the high quality cut. The 1/8″ bits (which are great for tight corners) use a solid pilot. All others use a double bearing guides.
