Nordic Pure 10x24x1PM8C-24 Furnace Air Filters MERV 8 Pleated Plus Carbon 24 Pack – 10x24x1 are constructed with dual-layer media, where the MERV 8 rated synthetic material is fused with an activated carbon layer. These filters help eliminate unwanted odors while trapping airborne dust and particulate matter to provide fresh, clean air. Odorous gases and vapors (VOC) are attracted to and held by the activated carbon, all while maintaining excellent airflow. Manufactured with a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame and a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for extra durability. The permanently electrostatically charged media acts like a magnet, attracting dust and particles. Nordic Pure’s anti-microbial filter media prevents the growth of bacteria and mold for a healthier environment. Comparable to air filters with an MPR rating of 800, we recommend replacing these filters every 30–90 days to maintain optimal efficiency and economy.
