Description
- Purges trapped air from cooling system
- Tests for coolant system leaks
- Refills cooling system quickly and cleanly
- Rubber body adapters cover most vehicle radiators
INSTRUCTIONS:
Purging
-
Connect cone adapter to the radiator neck. Add cone sleeves, as needed, making sure seal is tight.
-
Close valve to coolant suction hose.
-
Using proper air fitting, connect shop air and open valve to air line.
-
Check vacuum gauge to monitor purge process. When gauge reads between 50~60 mm Hg (6.67 – 8 kPa), vacuum is set. Coolant hoses should be collapsed and free of air. If you cannot reach this setting, check for leaks.
Coolant Refilling
-
After following steps above, close valve to air line. Vacuum will remain in system.
-
With both switches closed, put suction hose in coolant container. Open switch to suction hose and vacuum in system will suck coolant in.
-
After filling, close the switch and check the coolant level. If the coolant level is “OK,” process is complete.
-
Disconnect air and open hose switch to release excess fluid back into container.
