Description
General Finishes Exterior 450 Water-based Stains are premium quality exterior pigment stains designed for outdoor furniture and projects with vertical surfaces such as entrance doors, garage doors, or fences. They are fortified with UV absorbers to help reduce fading and maximize performance, and built-in mildewcides to retard mold and mildew growth.
General Finishes Exterior 450 Water-based Stain can be applied by brush, roll, or spray. It is not recommended for large horizontal surfaces such as decks.
Dry time is 2+ hours between coats in ideal conditions (70°F/20°C, 50% humidity.) Longer drying times are necessary with higher humidity. Seal with 3 coats of exterior finish. Easy clean up with warm, soapy water.
Coverage 140-160 sq. ft. per quart.
