These industrial quality spiral bits combine effective chip removal with a continuous shearing action cut not obtained from our regular straight bits. The design allows for rapid chip removal and a chip breaker tip for plunging. Since the spiraled cutting edge always stays in contact with your stock, these bits will give you a smooth, chatter-free cut.
Downcut spirals push chips away from the router. They are usually used in laminate, veneer, or inlay work and produce a clean finished top surface.
