The
Standardmask (Elipse calls it a Small/Medium) is the appropriate size for 70-80% of people.
This is the size most people will need.
The
Largemask (Elipse calls it a Medium/Large) is for people with a slightly larger head or elongated face. If you wear a large hat or have had problems with masks being too small in the past, you may want to consider this size.

We’re big fans of theElipse P100 Dust Mask. It’s comfortable, lightweight and great for dust protection. This new mask from the same company protects you from
organic vapors(think chemicals like homeowner grade finishes and solvents). It also has a built-in P100 rated dust filter, but it’s really not designed as a nuisance dust mask for everyday use. You should only wear it when you need vapor protection.
The Elipse OV/P100 is a 1/2 face mask made of hypo-allergenic, medical grade thermo plastic elastomer (TPE) for long wearing comfort. It has no silicone or latex. The filters use resistance optimized high-activated carbon for vapor absorption, plus a HESPA (High Efficiency Synthetic Particulate Airfilter) for P100 dust removal. The OV/P100 filters meet NIOSH standard TC-84A-8062.
The flexible padded gasket and two fully-adjustable elastic headband straps help ensure a comfortable yet reliable seal on your face.The standard size weighs just 12 oz.
The OV/P100 Mask comes with 2 organic vapor/dust filters installed on the mask. They can be used until fully clogged with dust or until the activated carbon is exhausted. (You’ll be able to smell or taste the contaminant when this happens.) We offer replacement filters in pairs. Both sizes of masks use the same filters.
As with all organic vapor masks, you should store the mask in a sealed bag when not in use. If you don’t, the activated carbon will absorb chemicals from the air and become spent prematurely. Fortunately, Elipse includes a heavy duty resealable bag with the mask.
Unfortunately, the OV/P100 filters are not interchangeable with the filters on the P100 dust mask.
