Description

Waterlox is a reliable, easily applied tung oil-based varnish. Polymerized tung oil, ester gum, polymerized linseed oil, and a high ratio of phenolic resin allow it to build a tough surface film which resists scuffs and staining admirably.Waterlox Marine Sealer is a clear, medium gloss exterior sealer, which penetrates wood enabling it to resist moisture, dirt, common household acids, alcoholic beverages, and heat and cold.Waterlox arine Sealer is recommended for all exterior marine wood surfaces as a sealer/primer to seal out moisture and intensify adhesion of the finish coat (latex and oil-base paints, and Waterlox Marine Finish). Apply by wiping, brushing, rolling, spraying or with lambswool pad; thin and clean up with mineral spirits or turpentine.Waterlox is tack-free and ready to recoat in 6-24 hours dependent on temperature, humidity and ventilation. Repair is easy: sand out the damage and recoat! Begin all exterior finishing projects with 1-2 coats of Waterlox Original Marine Sealer, followed by 1-2 coats of Waterlox Marine Finish.Coverage is around 500 square feet per gallon per coat; soft woods require more coats than very hard woods.
