This M7 impact universal joint features a ball lock pin mechanism. When inserted into the tool, the ball bearing gets pushed inside the shaft. Once fully loaded, a spring mechanism pushes the ball bearing back out of the shaft and into the host tool. This provides a secure lock between the impact universal joint and the tool. To remove it, simply press a button that pushes the ball bearing back into the joint’s shaft. This releases the lock and allows you to pull the impact universal joint free.
