- Commercial-Grade Performance: Built to withstand the rigors of professional use, offering consistent reliability in demanding watering applications found on golf courses, sports fields, and large landscapes.

SPECIFICATIONS:
- Hose Diameter Compatibility: 5/8 inches
- Mender Material: Machined Brass
- Clamp Material: Zinc with ED (Electrophoretic Deposition) finish
- Included in Package: 1 x Underhill 5/8″ Hose Brass Coupling Mender, 1 x Zinc clamp with ED finish
HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Hose: Using a sharp utility knife or hose cutter, make a clean, straight cut on the damaged section of the hose, removing any frayed or compromised material. If joining two hoses, ensure both ends are cut cleanly.
- Loosen the Clamp: Slide the included zinc clamp onto one of the hose ends. Loosen the clamp screw enough to allow the hose to slide over the mender’s barbed end.
- Insert the Mender: Firmly push one barbed end of the brass coupling mender into the prepared hose end. Twist the hose slightly while pushing to help it slide onto the barbs completely.
- Secure the First Clamp: Position the loosened clamp over the brass barb section on the hose. Using a screwdriver (typically a flathead or Phillips, depending on the clamp type), tighten the clamp screw until the hose is securely fastened around the mender, ensuring a tight, leak-proof seal. Do not overtighten, which can damage the hose.
- Repeat for Second Side (if applicable): If connecting two hoses, repeat steps 2-4 for the second hose end and the other side of the brass mender.
- Test for Leaks: Turn on the water supply and check the repaired section for any leaks. If leaks are present, gently tighten the clamps further.
