For innovative tool design, faster set up, and more versatility when making box and finger joints, INCRA’S I-Box jig cannot be beat. The I-Box is compatible with both table saws and router tables and features dual-pitch lead screw mechanics for precision adjustment of joint tightness. With an accepted pin range of 1/8 – 3/4, you can make great-fitting box joints with any cutter in that size range on lumber from 1/4 – 7/8 thick. The I-Box features exclusive box joint designs, including the Center Keyed and the Splined Box joints, that produce high-impact decorative style and work on a wider variety of lumber widths than other traditional jigs. It can also be used to create the ever-popular classic dentil moldings in a nearly infinite variety of proportions! The I-Box can be used with stacking-type dado blades, dedicated box joint blade sets, or straight router bits, and its reversible design works on either side of your cutter. For your safety, the I-Box features both front and rear blade guards; the front guard provides vertical stability for your boards and adjusts to accommodate lumber from 1/4 – 7/8 for cutting box joints, and will take even thicker wood for other types of work. A wide fence enables you to securely clamp your lumber into position for a better cut than hand-held boards. Significantly reduce or eliminate tearout with MDF thanks to the I-Box’s reversible and reusable MDF sub-fence. The I-Box also features INCRA’s exclusive GlideLOCK miter bar, which fits into a standard 3/4 x 3/8 miter slot with a 0.740 – 0.762 range of width adjustment. The miter bar may be placed up to 7-1/2 away from your saw blade and up to 7-3/4 away from your router. Use the I-Box with INCRA’s HingeCrafter (not included) to create beautiful wooden hinges in four barrel diameters and up to 10 long!
