Designed for use with shop vacs, this lid fits atop a 5 gallon bucket and gives chips and dust a chance to drop out of the airstream before they enter the filter bags.In other words, you’ve just made a two-stage system.A 2-1/2″ elbow on the inside of the lid inlet helps create a cyclonic flow inside the bucket, so that all but the very finest dust drops into the container.The result: easier emptying, and more efficient dust collection since empty filter bags have a greater effective surface area.Inlet and outlet ports fit 2-1/2″ hose.
