HOW TO USE:

1. Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 2.10 inch (54mm) opening in your vehicle’s dashboard or gauge pod. Secure the Speedhut Oil Temperature Gauge in this opening using the included gauge mounting ring.
2. Install the Temperature Sensor: Identify a suitable port on your engine to install the provided Speedhut Temperature Sensor. This is typically an existing port for a temperature sensor or a designated location for aftermarket sensors. Ensure the sensor is properly threaded and sealed.
3. Connect the Sensor Wiring: Connect the 2-wire cable from the Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness to the terminals on the Speedhut Temperature Sensor. Ensure a secure and correct connection.
4. Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the designated terminals on the back of the gauge. Connect the power wire (typically red) to a switched 12V power source in your vehicle. Connect the ground wire (typically black) to a reliable ground point on your vehicle’s chassis. If your gauge has LED lighting, connect the appropriate wire from this harness to your vehicle’s lighting circuit if you desire the gauge to illuminate with your other lights.
5. Test the Gauge: With all connections made, start your vehicle. Observe the gauge as the engine warms up. The pointer should move to indicate the current oil temperature. Verify that the readings are within the expected range for your vehicle.
