General Finishes Water-Based Dye Stain

General Finishes pre-mixed Water-Based Dye Stains let the color penetrate deeply into the wood, while allowing the woods grain and figure to show through.Compatible with all top coats, this dye has a small amount of acrylic binder that helps keep the color from migrating into water-based topcoats.(Use a seal coat of de-waxed shellac to completely prevent color migration into brushed-on WB top coats.)

You can use the General Finishes Dye Stain Reducer to create custom hues or intermix with General Finishes Water Based Wood Stains or Transtint Wood Dyes to create custom colors.Make your own toners by adding the dye directly into water based finishes.

Dry time is2-4 hrs. Coverage 150 sq. ft. per quart.
